RATES: A 50% deposit is required to confirm and hold your date and is fully refundable with 7 or more days advanced notice. Until payment is received your date is not confirmed. This deposit will be credited toward the total amount due when final payment is made. Please see the "Bookings" link to the left for information on how to pay your deposit.

My rate for private appointments is $80/Hour, and pro-rated after by the half-hour. Payment of the balance in full is required when services are rendered and payable by cash or personal check.

TRAVEL: There is no additional charge for appointments within 10 miles of downtown Orlando. Travel outside of this area will be billed at 50-cents per mile. Trips in excess of 100 miles will be billed instead at my hourly rate of $80/hour for travel time.

NOTES: Private appointments are usually (but not always) reserved for elaborate patterns, the application of which are usually followed by a 'wrapping' of the henna using tissue paper, cotton or paper wrapping, and/or plastic to help the design stain darker. It is recommended that the wrappings stay on for a minimum of 6-8 hours, usually overnight.

IMPORTANT: If the henna was applied on your hands/arms and/or legs, your ability to move around during this time and do simple things like driving and going to the restroom may be severely impaired. For that reason, I recommend that you schedule your appointment for a time when you do not have to do anything that might cause your henna to smear, rub or mush. Because wrapped henna will generally be softer, it is more vulnerable to movement. Remember that henna stains are permanent for up to three weeks, including designs that are accidentally squished.

SCHEDULING: It's recommended that you schedule at least two weeks in advance for your appointment, and ideally, 2-3 days before your event to allow your henna to reach its prime color. This is usually 36-48 hours after the henna has been applied. If your event is on a Saturday night for example, then your henna should be applied on Wednesday or Thursday. Although, if you are careful to protect your design and follow my aftercare instructions, you could even get your henna applied on a Tuesday.
